Meaning
To achieve this, one must close off all the sensory doors of the body and lock the mind within the heart. By drawing the life breath up into the head, the practitioner becomes fully established in deep yogic concentration.
What it means for us today
True meditation involves withdrawing the senses from external distractions and focusing entirely inward. By mastering our senses and centering our mind, we can achieve a state of deep inner stillness.
