About
How this was made
This is a free, non-commercial Bhagavad Gita companion from Ujjwal Bharat Labs, made for everyday readers who want to understand the text in their own language.
The Sanskrit text
The Sanskrit verses come from the open gita/gita dataset, released into the public domain. The Roman transliteration (IAST) is generated directly from the Devanagari. Chapter 13 is shown with 35 verses, including Arjuna's opening question, which some editions leave out; that is why the site has 701 verse pages for the traditional 700 verses.
The meanings and explanations
The English and Hindi meanings, the notes on everyday relevance, and the chapter summaries were drafted with Google's Gemini model, written fresh rather than copied from any published translation. Our team is reviewing them verse by verse. If something reads wrong, please tell us and include the verse number.
The illustrations
Chapter illustrations were generated with Gemini and checked for traditional details before publishing.
What comes next
Audio recitation of each verse, more languages, and word-by-word meanings are planned for later versions.
