I will now briefly explain to you the ultimate goal that scholars of the Vedas call indestructible. It is the state that dedicated seekers enter once they are free from attachments, and for which they lead a life of strict self-discipline.
What it means for us today
Krishna prepares to explain the ultimate spiritual goal that scholars and dedicated seekers strive for. It highlights that attaining the highest truth requires self-control, purity, and freedom from worldly attachments.
