Meaning

If you can withstand the powerful urges of desire and anger here on earth before your body dies, you are a true yogi. That is the secret to being a genuinely happy person.

What it means for us today

Anger and strong desires are powerful forces that can easily hijack our minds. Learning to tolerate and manage these impulses while we are still alive is the key to a peaceful and successful life.
