buddhiyukto jahātīha ubhe sukṛtaduṣkṛte
tasmādyogāya yujyasva yogaḥ karmasu kauśalam
Meaning
A person with a balanced mind moves beyond both good and bad deeds in this very life. Therefore, dedicate yourself to yoga, which is simply the art of living and acting with true skill.
What it means for us today
When we act without selfish motives, we stop accumulating karmic baggage, whether positive or negative. True skill in action means doing our duties perfectly while remaining internally free from their binding effects.
