Meaning
Krishna said: Arjuna, where is this despair coming from in your hour of crisis? It is unworthy of a noble person, does not lead to heaven, and will only bring you disgrace.
What it means for us today
Krishna challenges Arjuna's sudden weakness, reminding him of his noble character. When faced with tough situations, we must act according to our higher duties rather than giving in to despair.
