Krishna saysश्री भगवान कहते हैं
आत्मसम्भाविताः स्तब्धा धनमानमदान्विताः
यजन्ते नामयज्ञैस्ते दम्भेनाविधिपूर्वकम्
ātmasambhāvitāḥ stabdhā dhanamānamadānvitāḥ
yajante nāmayajñaiste dambhenāvidhipūrvakam
Meaningअर्थ
Stubborn and full of themselves, they are intoxicated by their own wealth and status. When they perform spiritual rituals or give to charity, it is purely for show, ignoring the actual spirit and rules of the practice.
अपने ही घमंड और पैसे के नशे में चूर ये लोग बहुत जिद्दी होते हैं। जब वे कोई दान-पुण्य या धार्मिक काम करते भी हैं, तो वह सिर्फ झूठे दिखावे के लिए होता है, जिसमें सच्ची भावना या सही तरीका बिल्कुल नहीं होता।

Rituals performed merely for social status or ego hold no spiritual value. True devotion is about inner sincerity, not outward, rule-breaking displays of wealth.
केवल सामाजिक प्रतिष्ठा या अहंकार के लिए किए गए अनुष्ठानों का कोई आध्यात्मिक मूल्य नहीं है। सच्ची भक्ति आंतरिक ईमानदारी के बारे में है, न कि धन के बाहरी और नियम तोड़ने वाले दिखावे के बारे में।
