Krishna says
yo na hṛṣyati na dveṣṭi na śocati na kāṅkṣati
śubhāśubhaparityāgī bhakitamānyaḥ sa me priyaḥ
Meaning
I deeply value the devoted person who neither gets carried away by excitement nor gives in to hatred, who neither grieves over losses nor craves things they lack. They have moved beyond the dualities of good and bad fortune.
What it means for us today
Life naturally brings a mix of good and bad events. By not getting overly excited by success or crushed by failure, we maintain a steady, peaceful mind.
