Bhagavad Gita 12.16
Krishna saysश्री भगवान कहते हैं
अनपेक्षः शुचिर्दक्ष उदासीनो गतव्यथः
सर्वारम्भपरित्यागी यो मद्भक्तः स मे प्रियः
anapekṣaḥ śucirdakṣa udāsīno gatavyathaḥ
sarvārambhaparityāgī yo madbhaktaḥ sa me priyaḥ
Meaningअर्थ
A devotee is very dear to me when they are independent, pure-hearted, and highly capable, yet remain impartial and free from inner turmoil. They engage in their work without feeling like they are the ultimate doer of the action.
मेरा वह भक्त मुझे बहुत प्यारा है जो किसी से कोई उम्मीद नहीं रखता, जिसका दिल साफ़ है और जो अपने काम में माहिर है। वह बिना किसी पक्षपात या अंदरूनी बेचैनी के काम करता है, और खुद को काम करने वाला नहीं मानता।
What it means for us todayआज हमारे लिए इसका अर्थ
We should strive to be highly competent and pure in our work, yet remain unattached to personal glory. True freedom comes when we act efficiently without being weighed down by anxiety over the results.
हमें अपने काम में अत्यधिक सक्षम और पवित्र होने का प्रयास करना चाहिए, फिर भी व्यक्तिगत महिमा से अनासक्त रहना चाहिए। सच्ची स्वतंत्रता तब मिलती है जब हम परिणामों की चिंता किए बिना कुशलता से कार्य करते हैं।
