Krishna saysश्री भगवान कहते हैं
अद्वेष्टा सर्वभूतानां मैत्रः करुण एव च
निर्ममो निरहङ्कारः समदुःखसुखः क्षमी
adveṣṭā sarvabhūtānāṃ maitraḥ karuṇa eva ca
nirmamo nirahaṅkāraḥ samaduḥkhasukhaḥ kṣamī
Meaningअर्थ
A true devotee holds no hatred toward anyone, acting instead as a compassionate friend to all creatures. They are free from ego and possessiveness, remain balanced through both joy and sorrow, and are quick to forgive.
मेरा सच्चा भक्त किसी से नफरत नहीं करता, बल्कि सबके साथ एक दयालु दोस्त की तरह रहता है। वह घमंड और लालच से दूर रहता है, सुख-दुख में एक सा रहता है और दूसरों को आसानी से माफ़ कर देता है।

Krishna begins listing the qualities of a truly devoted person. A spiritual life is reflected in how kindly and patiently we treat others, regardless of our own ups and downs.
