Bringing real heroes into the classroomअसली नायकों को कक्षा तक लाना

Each hero comes with a narrated video of about three minutes in Hindi and English, an illustrated story to read aloud, quick facts, the official award citation, an A3 poster with a QR code, and a worksheet for each stage: classes 3 to 5, 6 to 8 and 9 to 12. The activities follow those of the Veer Gatha project run by the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Education with CBSE.

हर नायक के साथ हिंदी और अंग्रेज़ी में लगभग तीन मिनट का वीडियो, पढ़कर सुनाने के लिए चित्रों वाली कहानी, मुख्य तथ्य, आधिकारिक प्रशस्ति-पत्र, क्यूआर कोड वाला A3 पोस्टर, और हर स्तर के लिए वर्कशीट है: कक्षा 3 से 5, 6 से 8 और 9 से 12। गतिविधियाँ रक्षा मंत्रालय और शिक्षा मंत्रालय द्वारा CBSE के साथ चलाई जाने वाली वीर गाथा परियोजना के अनुसार हैं।

    Play the hero's video on the smart board, in the class's language.

    Ask what the hero chose to do, and why. Then pick one value from the page and ask for an example from the students' own lives.

    Hand out the worksheet for the class's stage. The questions get harder by stage; the activity at the end is a Veer Gatha style entry.

Morning assemblyप्रार्थना-सभा

Each video works on its own for assembly. Good days to use them: Army Day (15 January), Republic Day (26 January), Kargil Vijay Diwas (26 July), Independence Day (15 August), and each hero's birthday.

हर वीडियो प्रार्थना-सभा में अलग से चलाया जा सकता है। इनके लिए अच्छे दिन: सेना दिवस (15 जनवरी), गणतंत्र दिवस (26 जनवरी), कारगिल विजय दिवस (26 जुलाई), स्वतंत्रता दिवस (15 अगस्त), और हर नायक का जन्मदिन।

Setting up a Veer Gatha cornerवीर गाथा कॉर्नर बनाना

Print each hero's poster on A3. The QR code on it opens the hero's page, so students can scan it with a phone or tablet and watch the story. Add the students' best worksheets, drawings and essays around the posters, and change the featured hero every few weeks.

हर नायक का पोस्टर A3 पर छापें। उस पर बना क्यूआर कोड नायक का पेज खोलता है, ताकि विद्यार्थी फ़ोन या टैबलेट से स्कैन करके कहानी देख सकें। पोस्टरों के आसपास विद्यार्थियों की सबसे अच्छी वर्कशीट, चित्र और निबंध लगाएँ, और कुछ हफ़्तों में फ़ीचर किया गया नायक बदलते रहें।

Talking about war with childrenबच्चों से युद्ध के बारे में बात करना

The stories focus on courage, duty and care for others, not on violence. They say plainly that each hero gave his life, without graphic detail. Younger children may have questions about death; it helps to answer simply and to come back to what the hero protected. The stories describe the other side factually and without hatred.

कहानियाँ हिंसा पर नहीं, साहस, कर्तव्य और दूसरों की परवाह पर केंद्रित हैं। वे सीधे शब्दों में बताती हैं कि हर नायक ने अपने प्राण दिए, बिना डरावने विवरण के। छोटे बच्चों के मन में मृत्यु को लेकर प्रश्न हो सकते हैं; सरल उत्तर देना और फिर इस पर लौटना अच्छा रहता है कि नायक ने किसकी रक्षा की। कहानियाँ दूसरे पक्ष का वर्णन तथ्यों के साथ, बिना द्वेष के करती हैं।

How the stories are madeकहानियाँ कैसे बनती हैं

Every story is written from the hero's official Param Vir Chakra citation and checked against at least two published accounts, which are listed on the hero's page. Where accounts disagree, the page says so, which also makes a good lesson in reading sources. Illustrations and narration are made with AI and reviewed by our team; the pictures are imagined scenes, not portraits.

हर कहानी नायक के आधिकारिक परमवीर चक्र प्रशस्ति-पत्र के आधार पर लिखी गई है और कम से कम दो प्रकाशित विवरणों से जाँची गई है, जो नायक के पेज पर दिए गए हैं। जहाँ विवरण अलग हैं, पेज पर यह बताया गया है, जो स्रोतों को पढ़ने का एक अच्छा पाठ भी है। चित्र और आवाज़ AI से बने हैं और हमारी टीम द्वारा जाँचे गए हैं; चित्र काल्पनिक दृश्य हैं, असली तस्वीरें नहीं।
