Chapter 9, verse 23
Bhagavad Gita 9.23
Krishna says
ye'pyanyadevatā bhaktā yajante śraddhayā'nvitāḥ
te'pi māmeva kaunteya yajantyavidhipūrvakam
Meaning
Arjuna, even those who worship other deities with deep faith are actually worshiping me. They are just doing it in an indirect or unconventional way.
What it means for us today
All sincere prayers ultimately reach the one Supreme Lord, regardless of the form being worshipped. However, worshiping temporary forms for material gains limits our spiritual growth, whereas directing our devotion to the Supreme brings ultimate freedom.
