Meaning
People whose judgment is clouded by worldly desires often turn to lesser gods for help. Driven by their own ingrained habits, they follow specific rituals hoping to get what they want.
What it means for us today
When people are overly focused on worldly gains, they seek quick fixes or specific boons rather than ultimate truth. This scatters their focus away from the supreme reality.
