Arjuna says
cañcalaṃ hi manaḥ kṛṣṇa pramāthi balavaddṛḍham
tasyāhaṃ nigrahaṃ manye vāyoriva suduṣkaram
Meaning
The mind is turbulent, stubborn, and incredibly strong, Krishna. Trying to tame it feels just as impossible as trying to catch and control the wind.
What it means for us today
We often feel overwhelmed by our own thoughts and emotions. Acknowledging the stubborn nature of the mind is the first honest step toward learning how to manage it.
