Bhagavad Gita 5.4

Krishna says

sāṃkhyayogau pṛthagbālāḥ pravadanti na paṇḍitāḥ
ekamapyāsthitaḥ samyagubhayorvindate phalam

Meaning

Only the inexperienced say that the path of knowledge and the path of action are different; the wise know better. If you deeply commit to either one, you will gain the rewards of both.

What it means for us today

People often debate whether knowledge or action is better, but wise individuals see them as interconnected. True understanding naturally leads to selfless action, and selfless action purifies the mind for true understanding.
