Meaning

The physical senses are more powerful than the body, and the mind is stronger than the senses. Your intellect is even more powerful than the mind, but your true self is the highest of them all.

What it means for us today

This verse provides a hierarchy of our inner faculties. While our senses are powerful, our mind can control them, our intellect can guide the mind, and our true spiritual self is above them all.
