Meaning
On the other hand, knowledge in the mode of passion sees every living being as fundamentally separate and different from one another. It focuses entirely on the divisions between things.
What it means for us today
A passionate mindset focuses on differences—race, class, species, or status—rather than the underlying unity. This fragmented view often leads to conflict, competition, and prejudice.
