Krishna saysश्री भगवान कहते हैं
अदेशकाले यद्दानमपात्रेभ्यश्च दीयते
असत्कृतमवज्ञातं तत्तामसमुदाहृतम्
adeśakāle yaddānamapātrebhyaśca dīyate
asatkṛtamavajñātaṃ tattāmasamudāhṛtam
Meaningअर्थ
Charity falls into ignorance when it is given disrespectfully, at the wrong time or place, or to unworthy causes. It is often handed over with contempt rather than genuine care.
जो दान गलत समय और गलत जगह पर, किसी अयोग्य व्यक्ति को दिया जाता है, वह तामसिक कहलाता है। ऐसा दान अक्सर बिना किसी आदर के और सामने वाले का अपमान करते हुए दिया जाता है।

Helping others requires respect and wisdom. Giving carelessly to harmful causes or treating the receiver with disrespect is entirely unhelpful and degrading.
दूसरों की मदद करने के लिए सम्मान और ज्ञान की आवश्यकता होती है। हानिकारक कार्यों के लिए लापरवाही से दान देना या प्राप्तकर्ता के साथ अपमानजनक व्यवहार करना पूरी तरह से अनुपयोगी और अपमानजनक है।
