Meaning

There are two kinds of beings in existence: the changing and the unchanging. Every creature in the physical world is subject to change and decay, but the liberated spirit remains forever unchanged.

What it means for us today

Krishna categorizes existence into the changing material world and the unchanging spiritual realm. Recognizing our eternal, infallible nature helps us detach from temporary worldly struggles.
