Meaning
I am the very foundation of the immortal and imperishable spiritual realm. I am the source of eternal dharma and the basis of absolute, unending joy.
What it means for us today
Krishna reveals that the Supreme Person is the ultimate source of all spiritual reality, including eternal duty and infinite happiness. By connecting with the Divine through devotion, a seeker naturally attains this everlasting peace and joy. It reminds us that true, unending bliss is found not in temporary material things, but in the eternal spiritual foundation.
