Gita Chapter 13: Kṣhetra Kṣhetrajña Vibhāg Yog
Chapter 13, verse 33
Bhagavad Gita 13.33
Krishna says
yathā sarvagataṃ saukṣmyādākāśaṃ nopalipyate
sarvatrāvasthito dehe tathā''tmā nopalipyate
Meaning
Think of how space is everywhere but never mixes with anything because it is so subtle. In the same way, the spirit exists everywhere within the body but never gets entangled with the body's physical traits.
What it means for us today
Space holds everything but is never dirtied by the things within it. Similarly, our true self experiences the body and mind but remains forever pure and unaffected by their changes.
