Chapter 13, verse 30
Bhagavad Gita 13.30
Krishna says
prakṛtyaiva ca karmāṇi kriyamāṇāni sarvaśaḥ
yaḥ paśyati tathā''tmānamakartāraṃ sa paśyati
Meaning
True vision means understanding that all actions are actually carried out by material nature. The pure inner spirit is simply observing and is never the one doing the work.
What it means for us today
Our physical and mental actions are driven by the qualities of material nature, while the true self is just a witness. Realizing this detaches us from the ego of being the doer and reduces stress.
