Meaning
Among sacred hymns I am the Brihat-Sama, and among poetic meters I am the Gayatri. Of the months I am the harvest month of Margashirsha, and among seasons I am the flower-bearing spring.
What it means for us today
Krishna associates Himself with the most beautiful and spiritually potent aspects of time, music, and poetry. This reminds us to see the beauty and rhythm of nature as a direct reflection of God's grace.
