Among the cosmic serpents I am Ananta, and among water deities I am Varuna. I am Aryama among the ancestors, and among those who uphold the law I am Yama, the lord of death.
What it means for us today
Krishna identifies Himself with the supreme rulers of various realms, showing that all cosmic administration operates through His power. This teaches us to respect the natural order and the laws of the universe as divine.
