Arjuna saysअर्जुन कहते हैं

अपरं भवतो जन्म परं जन्म विवस्वतः
कथमेतद्विजानीयां त्वमादौ प्रोक्तवानिति

aparaṃ bhavato janma paraṃ janma vivasvataḥ
kathametadvijānīyāṃ tvamādau proktavāniti

Arjuna asked: You were born recently, while the sun-god was born in ancient times. How should I understand that you were the one who taught this to him in the beginning?

अर्जुन ने पूछा: आपका जन्म तो अभी हाल ही में हुआ है, जबकि सूर्यदेव बहुत पहले पैदा हुए थे। तो मैं यह कैसे मान लूँ कि सबसे पहले आपने ही उन्हें यह ज्ञान दिया था?
