Meaning
When your intellect is unattached, your mind is mastered, and your personal desires are gone, you reach the highest state of freedom. Through this inner letting go, you achieve a perfect state beyond the binding effects of action.
What it means for us today
True renunciation is an internal state of non-attachment, not just physically leaving things behind. When we act without selfish desires, our actions no longer bind us to the cycle of karma.
