Meaning
After saying this, Krishna revealed his four-armed shape and then returned to his gentle human appearance. By doing this, the great-souled Krishna comforted the terrified Arjuna.
What it means for us today
Krishna's transition back to His gentle form demonstrates His deep compassion. It shows that while God encompasses the terrifying vastness of the universe, He is also the comforting friend who calms our fears.
