Bhagavad Gita 10.33
Krishna says
akṣarāṇāmakāro'smi dvandvaḥ sāmāsikasya ca
ahamevākṣayaḥ kālo dhātā'haṃ viśvatomukhaḥ
Meaning
Among letters I am the first vowel, A, and in grammar I am the dual compound word. I am endless time itself, and I am the universal creator whose presence faces all directions.
What it means for us today
The letter A is the root of all sounds, just as God is the root of all existence. Recognizing God as endless time and the universal sustainer helps us surrender our anxieties about the future.
