Meaning
Among the great sages I am Bhrigu, and among all sounds I am the sacred syllable Om. Of spiritual practices I am the quiet chanting of mantras, and among immovable things I am the Himalayas.
What it means for us today
Krishna elevates the simple, non-violent practice of chanting (Japa) as his very own form. It shows that quiet, steady remembrance of the Divine is the highest form of worship.
